The Hate Story series has been the first of its kind in the country, with each part in the revenge drama featuring different leading ladies. While the first part featured Paoli Dam in the lead role, the second film from the franchise had Surveen Chawla as the leading lady, before Zarine Khan took over in Hate Story 3. There has already been a considerable buzz around Urvashi Rautela’s character in Hate Story 4 and with the first look now releasing, the makers are hoping to capitalise on the momentum gearing up to the film’s release next March. Karan Wahi, who plays the male protagonist in the film, had earlier shared an image when the film had kick-started.
Hate Story 4 featuring Urvashi alongside Karan Wahi and Vivan Bhatena, is currently being shot in London and will arrive in cinemas on March 2 next year. The film is being directed by Vishal Pandya and produced by T-Series. Actress Ihana Dhillon, known for Punjabi films like Daddy Cool Munde Fool and Tiger, will make her Bollywood debut with Hate Story 4.
Earlier, the makers had roped in Jay Bhanushali and Karan Singh Grover for the second and third installments. For the fourth installment, Karan Wahi is roped in to play the lead. Karan, who was last seen in 'Kahani Hamari...Dil Dosti Deewanepan Ki', has been busy hosting and participating in reality shows. He was recently seen on 'Khatron Ke Khiladi', will be seen in the lead role. The shooting for the fourth installment in the Hate Story franchise started in September in London.
