Adaa Khan was born on 12 May 1989 in Mumbai, India. She did her schooling in the city and then joined college for graduation in psychology. However when she was still studying in college, she was spotted by a famous personality from the advertisement industry at a coffee shop and he offered her a job to model for the well-known Pantaloons apparels line. She accepted the offer and thus began her foray into the modelling world.
After modelling for a few years, Adaa landed an acting job in the serial ‘Palampur Express.’ Subsequently she did many similar supporting roles in varied serials and TV shows such as Savdhaan India, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, and Welcome 2 – Baazi Mehmaan Nawaazi, etc. She is now playing the main role/lead character of ‘Piya’ in the serial ‘Piya Basanti Re’ telecast on Sony Pal and as an ichhadhari naagin in Colors’ TV drama ‘Naagin.’
